The Knicks and the Heat in ambush for Joel Embiid?

As the standoff between James Harden and the Sixers becomes more and more tense, everyone wonders how the case will end, and especially what will be all the consequences…

Especially with regard to Joel Embiid, who also put pressure on Philadelphia last month.

Daryl Morey may well repeat that the reigning MVP is at the heart of the franchise project, the 29-year-old Cameroonian could have desires elsewhere, faced with the multiple failures in the playoffs and the instability of the group. Besides, according to Yahoo! Sportsseveral teams are keeping a particularly close eye on the pivot’s situation.

The Knicks and the Heat would thus be very vigilant, in case Joel Embiid finally requests his transfer.

New York can thus set up an interesting offer, with young players (RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Mitchell Robinson…) or even perhaps Julius Randle, as well as several first draft picks. For Miami, the options are more limited, and any trade (if the Lillard option fails) would likely involve Bam Adebayo.
