Raptors return to Vancouver for preseason

The last time the Raptors went to play in Vancouver, it was during the 2018 pre-season, and Kawhi Leonard was playing his first official game in the ranks of the club of Torontowho was preparing to deliver a high-flying 2018/19 campaign, obviously concluded with the first title in franchise history, obtained against the Warriors.

Five years later, with a workforce that no longer has much to do with the one who raised the Larry O’Brien Trophy in June 2019 since only Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby Chris Boucher are still there, the Raptors therefore return to play a preseason game in the western Canadian city, the eighth largest city in the country.

It will be October 8, at Rogers Arena, against the Kings as part of the Canada Serieswhose second game will oppose the Pistons to the Thunder, on October 12 in Montreal.

The Vancouver public will therefore have the first of the redesigned Raptors squad, after the departure of Fred VanVleet followed by the arrivals of Dennis Schröder, Jalen McDaniels or even the rookie Gradey Dick, and now trained by the Serbian Darko Rajakovic, replacing Nick Nurse.

Then, the Raptors will welcome in Toronto, on October 15, the Australian club of Cairns, before moving to Chicago to face the Bulls on October 17, then to complete the pre-season in Toronto, on the 20, against the Wizards.
