Chuck Hayes named Warriors director of basketball operations

If we learned of the arrival of Chuck Hayes in the offices of the Warriors, however, his role was not yet defined. The former Rockets pivot himself gave details to the Houston Chronicle.

As expected, he will occupy a leadership role since he is the new “director of basketball operations” of the Californian franchise.

Clearly, he will take care in particular of “scouting”, at the professional level as well as at the university level, a sector he knows well because he had joined the management of the Rockets in 2017 to carry out this mission.

In addition, Chuck Hayes will also have his opinion to give on “free agency” and on certain transfers. The last word obviously being for the new GM, Mike Dunleavy Jr., who replaced Bob Myers this summer.
