The future of Thanasis Antetokounmpo is about to be sealed. According to Shams Charania, the big brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo has extended his lease to the Bucks. He had been a free agent for nearly a month following the end of his two-way contract with the Wisconsin franchise, where he has been playing since 2019. The player preferred to stay in Milwaukee despite other offers, including the Knicks, where he has already played from 2014 to 2016, mainly in the G-League.
The winger goes like this travel back and forth between Greece and the United States before returning to prepare for the next World Cup, he who is part of the pre-selection of 22 players invited to the first camp of the Greek selection, which also includes Giannis and Kostas Antetokounmpo.
We do not yet know the amount, the duration or the type of contract signed by Thanasis Antetokounmpo, while there is still a place for the Bucks among their three “two-way contracts”.
