The contract spat between the Jets and Quinnen Williams has finally come to an end. NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero announced that the defensive tackle and his franchise had agreed to a four-year extension. At the end of the day, a salary of 96 million dollars, of which 66 million guaranteed.
This signing ends a complicated offseason between Williams and the New York front office. The 3rd pick in the draft had refused to participate in the voluntary activities of the Jets, and had even removed the name of the franchise from his Twitter status, leaving only appear:
