In less than a week, the home run contest will take place in MLB. It’s always a highly anticipated moment and in the weeks leading up to the event, we’re all waiting to see who will be attending.
And now a seventh name has just been added: Luis Robert, of the White Sox.
The Sox center fielder is having his career-best season — hands down — at home runs. He currently has 25 behind the tie.
He is therefore able to hold his own in the competition.
In his fourth year in the Majors, the White Sox center fielder is what I’m going to call an unsung star. His name resonates, but playing with the White Sox he doesn’t get enough credit.
You know like me that the competition can change everything.
He therefore joins Randy Arozarena, Mookie Betts, Pete Alonso, Julio Rodriguez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Adley Rutschman. An eighth name will of course be confirmed shortly.
It will be a great edition.
- Stephen A. Smith clearly doesn’t like the Angels.
- Zack Greinke is injured.
- Rowdy Tellez is injured.
