Ryan Rollins will be ready for the Summer League

Warriors rookie last season, ryan rollins experienced learning the demands of life in the NBA the hard way, with two major injuries that somewhat spoiled his first exercise at the highest level. The full-back was already deprived of the Summer League last season due to a stress fracture in his foot, a glitch which again occurred during the season, forcing him to withdraw until further notice from the month from February.

Despite his 12 games on the clock in the NBA and 9 in the G-League during which he showed himself to his advantage (18.6 points on average), the former rear of Toledo had to start from scratch with the aim of gaining in physical dimension to come back stronger. The first step this time will be to be able to compete in the Summer League in order to start his second season on the right foot.

“It was a process, you know, I battled injuries, had surgery and all that. I mean it was a process, it was part of my journey. I learned a lot. I’m ready for next year. I’m just starting to get back into the game at full throttle, so I’ll be ready for the Summer League and everything.” he told Kron4 News.

If he has only played bits of matches in his 12 NBA appearances (62 minutes in total), Ryan Rollins hopes to be able to show that he has his place and that he can be useful to Steve Kerr’s group even by appearing among the last rotations.

“I should just do whatever the coaches tell me, go out there and play hard. I will have to be competitive, give my all and do everything that is expected of me. I would say that my defense and my ability to create, that’s what people ask a lot of me. I feel like I’m making progress in this area.”
