A time evoked on the side of Phoenix or Milwaukee, Tyronn Lue should finally continue the adventure at the Clippers, even if an extension is not on the agenda. Bleacher Report reveals that the two parties are not expected to reach a contract extension, during this summer, when Tyronn Lue will enter his last year of guaranteed contract.
While the Clippers will move at the end of next season to join Inglewood, the Clippers have a clause to extend it for an additional year. For the management, led by Lawrence Frank, it is a way of preserving a certain flexibility to continue the adventure, or not, at the end of the season.
For Lue, the situation is more unstable, but his rating is intact in the NBA, and if he were to be released in June 2024, a few franchises should position themselves to sign him.
