Pelicans ready to part ways with Zion Williamson?

The Scoot Henderson track looks serious in New Orleans. The Pelicans would indeed very much want to recover second or third place in the Draft to select the young playmaker.

For that, it will be necessary to convince the Hornets or the Blazers and after Marc Steinthe leaders would be ready to include Zion Williamson in an exchange if they have the assurance of being able to draft Henderson!

On the other hand, Brandon Ingram seems to be sheltered. And since the Blazers are looking for reinforcements for Damian Lillard and are able to trade their third draft pick, maybe that’s where we need to look…

This willingness of the Pelicans could thus mean that Zion Williamson is no longer as untouchable in New Orleans.

It should be remembered that, with only 114 games played in four seasons, the All-Star interior was more often injured than present on the court. Despite still performing very well when he was in uniform. But it is obvious that his repeated absences slow down the progress of the group, as CJ McCollum pointed out recently.
