Aleksej Pokusevski still injured…

The Thunder announced that Aleksej Pokusevsky recently injured his arm. Indeed, the Serb suffered a small fracture of the right humerus during a “workout”. He will now be reassessed in four to six weeks, however, giving him plenty of time to recover before the start of next season.

It’s still a new setback for the slender interior, which has not been spared from injury this season. Victim of an undisplaced fracture of the left tibial plateau last December, he thus took part in only 34 matches out of 82 possible.

Aleksej Pokusevski is in the midst of an important offseason as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. The Thunder even have the opportunity to extend it this summer. In his third year in the NBA, he averaged 8.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

With this new injury, we should in any case not see “Poku” at the 2023 World Cup with Serbia, especially since the Thunder had already blocked him last summer, on the occasion of Euro 2022.
