A first start for Abraham Toro in Milwaukee this season

During the last training camp, Abraham Toro had the goal of breaking through the Milwaukee Brewers roster. It ultimately didn’t happen.

He put on his work boots and reported to the organization’s AAA club. In Nashville, he hit the trails often, eventually earning him a promotion to the Majors.

As the Blue Jays host the Brewers these days in Toronto, the Quebecer was treated to a late batting appearance yesterday. He has been reached.

But he had not yet had the right to a start.

Everything will change tonight. During the match scheduled for 7 p.m., Toro will be entitled to his first start of the season in his new colors.

He’ll hit sixth and he’ll play third base.

Note that Rowdy Tellez, who entered in the middle of the game yesterday, will be entitled to a game at first base against his former team.

In Toronto, Brandon Belt will have a bye as George Springer will be the hitter of choice tonight in Toronto. Daulton Varsho will hit fourth.

Kevin Kiermaier finds his place in the center and Alejandro Kirk will once again be installed behind the plate.

The Blue Jays won yesterday’s game between the two teams.

  • Things are off to a good start for Aaron Hicks in Baltimore.
  • Speaking of Brandon Belt.
  • A bomb of 459 feet (and not 478) for Shohei Ohtani.
