LeBron James has fulfilled the secret dream of many players, and perhaps of his pal Chris Paul: to open the lip of referee Scott Foster, one of the least appreciated men in gray on the circuit.
The incident took place at the end of the 1st half when LeBron collided with the referee on a breakaway sprint. In slow motion, we can clearly see that Foster takes a shoulder blow in the face, and he therefore comes out with a bloody mouth. Of course, LeBron went to him to apologize, and it went quite a nice conversation with Austin Reaves to start hostilities.
– Reaves “That deserves a technical foul. No, I’m joking… “
– LeBron: “No, but I was already in sprint mode at that time”.
– Foster “You’ve been waiting to do this to me for 25 years…”
