State of the forces of Passion MLB: the Rays at the top

Already a month has passed since the opening of the 2023 season in MLB. A lot has happened and a lot more will change, but now is a great time to look back on the past few weeks and rank major league teams by what they’ve accomplished and the strength of their rosters.

So without further ado, here is the first version of Passion MLB’s State of Forces for the current campaign.

1 – Tampa Bay Rays

Despite the confusing ease of their schedule, the Rays can’t find themselves anywhere but first on this list. The next few weeks will tell us more about the true value of this team, however.

2 – Atlanta Braves

The Braves don’t seem to have any flaws, to the point that some are comparing them to the 1998 edition. Only a month has passed in the season, but we have to admit that they will be difficult to dislodge.

3 – Milwaukee Brewers

The name of the game is pitching and the Brewers get it. Armed with a solid rotation and a rock-solid bullpen, Milwaukee is blithely sailing towards the section title, even if it is still early.

4-Toronto Blue Jays

The eternal weakness of the Blue Jays is still present, namely the relief, but the Canadian team is doing well thanks to its offensive strike force. It’s been more difficult lately though, and the next six weeks will be tougher.

5 – Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles are building on their momentum from last year, finding all kinds of ways to win games. The pleasure seems to be there and it could take them further than expected.

6 – Houston Astros

7 – Pittsburgh Pirates

8 – New York Mets

9 – Minnesota Twins

10 – Texas Rangers

11- Los Angeles Dodgers

12 – New York Yankees

13 – Arizona Diamondbacks

14 – San Diego Padres

15 – Philadelphia Phillies

16- Chicago Cubs

17 – Cleveland Guardians

18 – Miami Marlins

19 – Los Angeles Angels

20 – Boston Red Sox

21 – Seattle Mariners

22 – St. Louis Cardinals

23 – Cincinnati Reds

24-San Francisco Giants

25 – Detroit Tigers

26 – Colorado Rockies

27-Washington Nationals

28-Chicago White Sox

29 – Kansas City Royals

30 – Oakland Athletics
