For the past few months, Bryce Harper has been recovering from a Tommy John-type operation. The Phillies are hoping the hitter will be able to return as soon as possible.
We know it will be the hitter of choice early on, but the Phillies got used to that last year for most of the season.
How is he, the Bryce?
What you need to know is that Harper started knocking again recently. He is even at the level where he would be able to start hitting again in a match.
The problem? He is unable to slip.
If the player could only hit balls where he doesn’t have to slide, he could very well run and brace afterwards.
But we all know it doesn’t work that way. The risks are present, which means that the player will have to wait a bit before being able to return to the game.
At least he’s progressing. And even if the Phillies will not want to rush anything, let’s bet that this is news that has something to encourage the club.
For what? Because he is good, but above all to give a hand to a club which has to fight in a division which is quite tough.
It is to be continued, therefore.
