Andy Dalton arrives at the Panthers

The starting quarterback in 2023 for the Panthers is not yet known, but Frank Reich and his family prefer to secure their backs with a veteran. According to ESPN, Andy Dalton is set to join Carolina for two years and $10 million, with $8 million guaranteed.

With Matt Corral, who has never played in the NFL yet, and a future rookie quarterback, the Panthers having the first draft pick, adding an experienced pitcher is a smart move. With Andy Dalton, Frank Reich acquires a player capable of directing his attack the time it will take for a young quarterback to take the reins.

Last season, Dalton started 14 games for the Saints, and threw 18 touchdowns against 9 interceptions. Under his leadership, New Orleans posted a record of 6 wins and 8 losses.
