The big maneuvers continue on the side of Las Vegas. And they are still so… amazing.
NFL Media announces that the Raiders have sent Darren Waller to the Giants. In exchange, Vegas receives a 3rd round draft pick. The 100th choice, precisely. This is the selection that the New York franchise had recovered by sending Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs.
Withdrawn for two seasons, Waller nevertheless remains a very talented tight end, one of the best in the league when he is in top form. If he gets back to his best, he should make Daniel Jones and the G-Men happy.
Last season, Waller caught 28 balls for 388 yards and 3 touchdowns in 9 games. In 2019 and 2020, he exceeded 1,100 receiving yards.
A few hours after the signing of Jakobi Meyers, the Raiders therefore seem to want to rely above all on the receiving trio led by Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Meyers.
