This afternoon, Canada faced Great Britain. The two most common fonts of the Classic on sweaters were confronted.
What is interesting is that the game allowed Quebecers to shine. In an 18-8 win, Phillippe Aumont picked up the win in relief and the position players did well.

All the guys, in the end, did their job and the game only lasted 6.5 innings. After all, with a difference of 10 points, the mercy rule embark. Canada therefore scored 18 runs in six innings.
It’s also the first time that guys like Freddie Freeman and Tyler O’Neill have won a Classic game in Canadian colors since the last victory was in 2013.
Canada’s 18 points are a Classic record…and so is the game’s 26 points.
Note that the match still lasted 3h 38, which is long for a match of less than seven innings. Remember that the dial was not introduced to the World Classic.
