The Buccaneers will part ways with Leonard Fournette

The rebuilding of the Buccaneers offense continues. After the position of quarterback following the retirement of Tom Brady, it is that of running back which will be in reconstruction. NFL Media has announced that the franchise will cut Leonard Fournette on March 15, the start of the new NFL year.

Earlier in the day, however, Bucs general manager Jason Licht said he thought Fournette had “several years as a three-attempt running back” in him. Not enough, however, to keep him on the team.

This departure of Leonard Fournette will allow Tampa Bay to save $ 5 million in salary margin in 2023. The runner, he should therefore discover a 3rd franchise for his 7th season in the big league.
