ELF: the Paris team is already changing its name and becoming the Musketeers

It was well worth teasing the presentation for several days and composing a press release full of language elements.

A little over a month after the announcement of the name “Saints”, the team that will represent Paris in the European League of Football has finally changed its name.

This Monday, in a one-line tweet, the EFL announced that the franchise is now called the Musketeers.

So it will be the Musketeers. Announcement confirmed simultaneously by the team’s official account.

The opportunity to publish a new press release, explaining that it was for a question of rights that the team was first called the Saints.

“From the moment the franchise was founded, our goal was to name our team the Paris Mousquetaires. This name was not available until recently. From now on, we have obtained the rights to the name “Mousquetaires” and will henceforth be known exclusively under the name of Mousquetaires de Paris.

We are extremely enthusiastic about this change and now believe that our identity has the originality and believe that our identity has the originality and representation that Paris and France deserve. We are choosing to make this change now because it is the right thing to do for the long term.

Our colors and our main logo (the cross of the Musketeers) remain unchanged, as previously announced.

All for one. »
