Philadelphia Eagles: Jason Kelce uncertain about his future

The center could decide to hang up the cleats this summer.

What if the Super Bowl was the last game of Jason Kelce’s career? According to the main interested party, the question has the merit of being asked. On the occasion of the last episode of New Heights, the now famous podcast bringing together the two Kelce brothers, Travis and Jason, the two players returned to this huge match last Sunday. Above all, the tight end asked his big brother about the rest of his career. His answer should not particularly reassure Eagles supporters:

It is impossible for me to answer this question right away. I think I’ll get the answer quickly, but right now it’s impossible to give you an answer. Honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to do.

At 35, Jason Kelce is still one of the best offensive linemen in the league. With one title and five first-team All-Pro selections, his place in the Hall of Fame is all but assured. It now remains to be seen whether he still wants to make the efforts that an NFL season requires.

Frankly, I had fun this season with this incredible team, but I’m exhausted. I need to recharge the batteries, because it was a long season that drained me mentally, physically and emotionally. I will recover from all this and I will make my decision.

It must be said that it is difficult to have clear ideas after a heartbreaking defeat like the one experienced at the Super Bowl. We will therefore have to wait to find out if Jason Kelce will still be an NFL player next year. Something tells us in any case that he will reserve his answer for his brother in their podcast.
