Carlos Beltran working for the Mets again

For several years, we wonder if Carlos Beltran will return to the job of the New York Mets, the club that fired him as manager before he led his first game.

It was because of the unveiling of the signal theft scandal, where he had played an important role, that the Mets parted ways with him.

Whoever is denied access to the Hall of Fame sees time pass and the other actors in the scandal (Alex Cora, AJ Hinch, etc.) replace their feet.

Eventually it was his turn… and it’s done since the Mets opened the doors of their organization to him as a staff member on the second floor.

What will his role be? Who knows. It’s not yet clear.

What we do know is that it’s enough to make him quit his job on TV (YES Network) to come back to work for his club.

We know that he lives in New York and we know that in the past he did not want to leave his family to go work elsewhere. I don’t know if it’s still the case, but he (re)places his feet.

Will he ever be appointed manager of a club? It’s too early to tell, but he’s on his way to returning to baseball for good.
