To top it off, Mahomes will have had the merit of performing at this level while having lost Tyreek Hill, one of the very best receivers in the NFL.

Going from a status where we wonder about his long-term future as a starting quarterback to a serious MVP candidate, Jalen Hurts is THE player who has exploded into the open this season. At the dawn of the playoffs, Joe Burrow will have played a season in crescendo mode. In difficulty, even beside his pumps at the start of the season, he gained strength week after week to finally become one of the biggest candidates for the title of MVP. With 4475 yards and 35 touchdowns for 12 interceptions, Burrow had an exceptional season. Apart from quarterbacks, Justin Jefferson is an indisputable choice. If he missed the opportunity to afford a season over 2000 yards, the receiver of the Vikings has chained high-flying performance this year as evidenced by his 10 games completed over 100 yards. Having become the best receiver in the league this season, Justin Jefferson still has the whole future ahead of him to write his name in the history books of the NFL since he has just concluded only his third professional season.
