Return to the land imminent for Desmond Bane?

Injured since mid-November, Desmond Bane was initially announced to be absent for two to three weeks. Finally, the delay was lengthened since Memphis preferred to wait for the complete healing of his big toe, solicited on each support, before he could find the land without risk of relapse or pain.

In the best case, we could therefore hope to see the Grizzlies shooter between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Eventually, it might even be even sooner than that since Memphis changed the status of the back 24 for next night’s game in Phoenix. Desmond Bane has thus gone from “absent” to “uncertain”, the usual sign that he is not very far from being able to find the land…

In the aftermath, Ja Morant and Desmond Bane published tweets in the form of a wink, the first posting his teammate’s number #22, the second posting the emoji of a smiling man with sunglasses .

For the Grizzlies, this imminent return is in any case excellent news because Desmond Bane is the main outside threat of the team. For his third season, he thus turned in 12 games at 24.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists on average, at a still superb 45% success rate behind the 3-point line.
