Placed in the NBA’s Covid protocol, Al Horford has missed Boston’s last four games, the two wins in Toronto then Phoenix, but also the two losses at Golden State and then against the Clippers.
After this last setback, Joe Mazzulla also explained that his interior would not be present for the last game of the team’s “road trip”, tonight against the Lakers. Although he is now out of quarantine, the former Hawks, Sixers and Thunder player is absent “for personal reasons”.
Al Horford will therefore be back on Friday, at home, for the reception of Orlando at TD Garden.
An expected return because the veteran brings a lot of stability to the team, with his 10.2 points and 6.3 rebounds on average, at a record 46% 3-point success. The Dominican is such an important member of the workforce that he has been extended, despite his 36 years, until 2025 by Brad Stevens!
