Dodgers won’t go for Carlos Correa, who fans don’t like

Carlos Correa is a polarizing character. Why? Because the shortstop was a face of the Astros’ signal-stealing scandal.

The Yankees and Dodgers seem to be the fan bases that hated seeing the Astros cheating the most because they were denied a win.

But has time had its effect? According to Ken Rosenthal, it would seem not.

The Los Angeles Dodgers wouldn’t consider signing Correa partly because fans wouldn’t agree.

Would that explain why the Yankees have never had their nose in the file? Maybe that’s a factor, actually.

But clearly it’s one in LA

Is it the only one? No. The Dodgers don’t want to spend too much since Trevor Bauer could be on the payroll of the Dodgers if he is not suspended.

The Dodgers might also want to save the money to sign Shohei Ohtani in a year. This is a theory that had been raised recently and which Rosenthal brought to the fore.

Whatever the reason, Correa will not land in Los Angeles this year. I see him going to San Francisco, Chicago or Minnesota at the moment.

But who knows which teams will be on his case?
