Last night, in the defeat of his team against VCU (70-65), the coach of Vanderbilt freaked out, being expelled for two technical faults, retained first by several members of his own staff after strong invectives against the referees, then directly escorted to the locker rooms by the police department in place!
The reason for his ire? After a “facial” dunk from insider Liam Robbins who celebrated his gesture by slapping his hand on the head, which has become commonplace on courts around the world, Jerry Stackhouse did not appreciate the officials whistling at all technical error…
“It was a badly refereed game and [les officiels] must do better than that. »
As Vanderbilt came back to -3 on that dunk, VCU inherited six free throws that put it up 12-2 to seal the win. Under tension in a more than sluggish start to the season, with three wins for four losses, Jerry Stackhouse did not help his people on this one!
