Attack on Titan is not dependent on Derrick Henry
Accustomed to carrying the Titans on his broad shoulders, running back Derrick Henry is a little less dominant at the moment but that does not prevent Tennessee from continuing to reap the victories. And it is in particular because the aerial game begins to find its way.
Thursday in Green Bay, in his second game since returning from injury, Ryan Tannehill threw for 333 yards (22/27), his highest total of the season. He notably relied on his tight end Austin Hooper to find the end zone, but we especially saw rookie receiver Treylon Burks come out of his box (7 receptions, 111 yards) and veteran Robert Woods make a valuable contribution.
If this trend is confirmed, watch out for the Titans!
Reasons to worry for the Eagles
Last week, the Eagles lost the aura of invincibility that surrounded them when they fell at home to Washington. Yesterday, Philadelphia found the taste of success in Indianapolis, but without really sweeping away the doubts.
So defensively – except for the first drive of the game where Philly was walked on – the Eagles responded well, on the other side of the ball it was sluggish. The ground game did not weigh much outside the races of quarterback Jalen Hurts, the penalties were chained, and the Eagles never really managed to fly in the air in the absence in particular of the second option Dallas Goedert (544 yards, 3 touchdowns this season).
Two weeks not very convincing therefore for a team which openly aims for the Super Bowl. It’s up to Nick Sirianni’s men to find their mojo as soon as possible, if possible from the next match against Green Bay.
The Cowboys are the most dangerous team in the NFC
Opposed to the Vikings in the clash of the weekend, the Cowboys sent a very big message by destroying Minnesota 40-3. Never in its history had the legendary Dallas franchise won an away game with such a gap, but it was above all through their domination in the different phases of the game that the Cowboys impressed.
Kirk Cousins went through a nightmare (7 sacks), Justin Jefferson was never born (3 receptions, 33 yards), Dallas running back Tony Pollard continues to impress (80 yards rushing, 109 receiving, 2 TD) alongside Ezekiel Elliott (2 TD), and Dak Prescott (22/25, 276 yards, 2 TD) released a very clean performance to confirm his return.
While the Eagles (9 wins – 1 loss record) are fumbling a bit at the moment and the Vikings (8-2) have just fallen off their cloud, the Cowboys (7-3) look like the most dangerous in NFC today.
Zach Wilson is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL
The Jets’ defense, which has proven to be one of the strongest in the league this season, limited the Patriots’ offense to 3 points yesterday. Yet New York lost.
How is it possible ?
Ask Zach Wilson, who offered another disastrous performance against New England by finishing with… 77 passing yards at 9/22. If according to the young quarterback, “the Jets’ attack did not let the defense down” in this game, that is what happened. The attack, but also the special teams, who granted a touchdown on a punt return in the last seconds of the match…

Taylor Heinicke, Washington’s new commander-in-chief
Taylor Heinicke is far from being an exceptional quarterback, and likes to drink a good beer after a good victory. But the results speak for themselves. Since taking charge of the injured Carson Wentz, Washington has been winning streaks: four wins in five games, all to allow the Commanders to post a positive record of 6-5 after 11 games.
If Heinicke may not be the main reason for these victories, the Washington franchise has logically decided to keep him as QB#1, who will keep his starting position even when Wentz returns.
Yes, Lions know how to roar
Competitive at the start of the season but unable to win close games, the Lions have officially raised the bar after an ugly five-game losing streak. Victory against Green Bay, victory in Chicago, and then victory at the surprising Giants this Sunday behind a hat-trick from Jamaal Williams (12 touchdowns in all for him this season, first in the NFL), as much to say that the atmosphere has changed in Detroit.
It had been since 2017 that the Lions had not chained three consecutive successes. Perfect for preparing for the Bills’ Thanksgiving this Thursday.
Davante Adams, the king of overtime
In addition to his 7 receptions and 141 yards, Davante Adams took on the hero costume yesterday in Denver to get the Raiders out of the crisis a bit. It was he, with his touchdown in overtime, that gave Las Vegas the victory 22-16.
According NFL Research, it’s the third touchdown scored in overtime by Adams since the start of his career. It’s simply a record, tied with a certain LaDainian Tomlinson.
Carr for Adams, the duo do it again to give the Raiders the victory in overtime 🔥#LVvsDEN #RaiderNation

Mahomes-Kelce Chiefs simply unbeatable in November
Combining three touchdowns yesterday against the Chargers, Pat Mahomes and Travis Kelce were once again exceptional in allowing Kansas City to snatch victory at the finish, and thus keep alive their magnificent series of successes in November.
It has indeed been the tenth week of the 2019 season since Kansas City has not lost in November, which gives no less than eleven consecutive victories.
Bad news for future opponents of Kansas City, the machine is even more formidable in December (14 straight wins).
The Bengals are ready to repeat the coup of last year
Winners of the Steelers (37-30) behind a great Joe Burrow (4 touchdowns), an untenable Tee Higgins (148 receiving yards) and a Samaje Perine who scored three relay touchdowns from Joe Mixon (out of concussion), the Bengals started their second half of the season well after their week off. A good omen before the big deadlines to come against Tennessee then Kansas City. And since good news never comes alone, star receiver Ja’Marr Chase is about to return to training.
Like last year, are the Bengals about to take a big step with the Playoffs in sight? It’s possible.
