As in past seasons, we are following the format of the All-NBA Teams, with two players from the “backcourt”, two from the “frontcourt” and a pivot. And for this first five of the season, we start from last Monday.
This week, impossible to ignore the infernal Luka Doncic, in the footsteps of Wilt Chamberlain in terms of scoring. At his side on the “backcourt”, we could have gone to draw from the Cavaliers (Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell) or from the Grizzlies (Ja Morant, Desmond Bane) or even from the Hawks (Dejounte Murray) but the super solid (and finally clever) Jrue Holiday this time our favors.
On the wings, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum and Lauri Markkanen were still serious candidates, but Paul George and Kevin Durant gritted their teeth, in complicated contexts. The first revived his Clippers after a series of defeats while the second has to do with the funny atmosphere at the Nets…
Finally, under the circle, Nikola Jokic could have regained his place in the five, but we opt for Jarrett Allenin another style, but which is gaining momentum with the Cavaliers.
As in past seasons, you can vote for the MVP of the week.
