The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled forwards Samuel Poulin and Drake Caggiula on Sunday.
“They are playing really well and they deserve this recall. That’s why they’re on their way as I speak,” said head coach Mike Sullivan.
In four games this season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the American League, the 21-year-old forward has scored one goal. He finished last season with 37 points, including 16 goals, in 72 games.
Poulin, who has yet to play in the NHL, was drafted by the Penguins at 21e rank in 2019.
For his part, forward Teddy Blueger has seen his name placed on the long-term injured list.
