There will be one more Frenchman across the Atlantic this season since Tom Digbeu was picked 28th in the G-League Draft by Pistons-affiliated franchise Motor City Cruise. Maybe he will meet Killian Hayes in the facilities of the franchise… and he will manage to do better than his dad. A formidable winger in the 90s, Alain Digbeu was selected by the Hawks in 1997, but he never played in the NBA.
Like every year, this Draft is a big catch-all with former glories (Norris Cole, selected in the second round), elements already passed by the NBA (Joe Wieskamp, Rashad Vaughn…) and illustrious unknowns out of division III NCAA .
We note that in first place, the Cleveland Charge chose Sam Merrill, a rear already passed by the Bucks and the Kings in the NBA.
