Hawks discuss Jae Crowder transfer

Away from the Suns since he learned that he would no longer be a starter and that he had almost joined the Jazz, Jae Crowder interests some teams (Boston, Cleveland, Dallas…), and according to The Athleticdiscussions have been underway for a few weeks between the Suns and the Hawks.

Two-time winners of the Bucks in Abu Dhabi, Atlanta have focused on defense with the recruitment of Dejounte Murray, and a player like Jae Crowder would be invaluable with his experience and his “3&D” profile.

We do not know what the Hawks offer, but it is not at all certain that Jae Crowder will start more in Atlanta since De’Andre Hunter and John Collins will start on positions 3 and 4.

It is difficult to see them, moreover, separating from a De’Andre Hunter in full progression or even from a Bogdan Bogdanovic, ideal as a 6th man, to make Phoenix give up. Maybe the Suns will be satisfied with a first round of the Draft, but none of the recruits this summer (Lee or Okogie) will fill the departure of Jae Crowder.
