Unlike Yves Pons, who declined an invitation from the Nets to join Asvel, Olivier Sarr decided to play his NBA card thoroughly, since ESPN announces that the former Kentucky inside has landed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract with the Blazers. It’s an invitation to training camp, and this type of contract allows the Blazers to have the rights to the player in the G-League.
It will be complicated to integrate the final roster of the Blazers, but the Frenchman proved last year, at the Thunder, that he could achieve great things. We remember his passage from five matches to 14.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 against on average, 63% on shots and 54% at 3-pts, in 30 minutes of play!
This summer, he had participated in a Lakers “free agent” camp and then he had joined the Suns summer league team.
