Mavericks looking for Jalen Brunson replacement?

The departure of Jalen Brunson to the Knicks was (almost) expected on the Mavericks side. The rumors were indeed very insistent and Mark Cuban did not even attempt to comment on the possible “tampering” of New York, accepting his fate in the face of the signing of his former player.

Except that if Dallas made a nice move by bringing in Christian Wood, then signing JaVale McGee, the franchise ultimately did not replace Jalen Brunson, who averaged 16.3 points last season.

So that after Marc Steinthe Texan leaders, who still have a place in their workforce, are keeping an eye on several avenues to recover a player capable of carrying the ball, in order to relieve Luka Doncic.

Dennis Schroder, still without a club, would be particularly observed at the moment, at EuroBasket, by GM Nico Harrison and his assistant Michael Finley. Other playmakers are also mentioned by our colleague, such as Eric Bledsoe, Elfrid Payton, Facundo Campazzo or even Dennis Smith Jr.
