The NFL in virtual reality: a game planned for the fall

Always further in immersion. In any case, this is what NFL PRO ERA will hope to offer, a game under development which should be released in the fall, according to ESPN.

Developed by StatusPro, this game should be available on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR.

Holder of the players’ union license, NFL PRO ERA should therefore use the names and appearances of current NFL players.

StatusPro was founded by former college quarterback Troy Jones and NFL wide receiver Andrew Hawkins. The aim of the game will be to offer the experience of the field.

“We will not be a coach, manager or owner. You are an NFL player and we focused on that,” explained Jay Juneau, the executive producer.

“You play quarterback in an NFL game. You can make the decisions,” promises Hawkins.

Answer in the fall.
