According to NFL Media, the 2018 1st draft pick asked his franchise to be traded. ESPN specifies in passing that he would be interested in the Colts.
End of not receiving. The Browns would oppose the departure of their starting quarterback.
The next few weeks are likely to be eventful between the two parties. The good news is that the resumption of the season is not for now, and that the staff and the front office of Cleveland have time to try to convince Mayfield that in fact they have always believed in him.
