One season and then goes. According to ESPN, the Titans have decided to terminate Julio Jones’ contract. By using a June 1 cut, the franchise saves $11.5 million in their payroll.
Arrived from Atlanta last year against a 2nd and a 4th round, Jones has not found the performance that made him one of the best receivers of the last decade. He achieved in 2021 the least productive season of his career. In 10 games he caught only 31 balls for 434 yards and a touchdown.
Despite his 33 years, the five-time All Pro should not lack a courtier if he decides to continue his career.
