After seeing Andrelton Simmons sign in Chicago, the Yankees see another deep option leaving the available player market.
Shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa is going the way of the Twins, as is pitcher Ronny Henriquez. Mitch Garver takes the opposite path.
And the trades begin!
The Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers are in agreement on a deal that will send shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa to the Twins, sources familiar with the situation tell ESPN.

Rangers had little room for Kiner-Falefa at shortstop following two big Ranger signings, Corey Seager and Marcus Semien. You could think he was going to play third base, especially on the sidelines of the injury of hope Josh Jung.
But eventually, he leaves for Minnesota, which lost Andrelton Simmons yesterday via the free agent market.
The Yankees had those two options in their sights as gap between the present and the arrival of hopes. Is this another hint that the Yankees will sign a big name like Carlos Correa?
The market is about to explode, I can feel it.
Free-agent reliever Steve Cishek is in agreement with the Nationals on a one-year contract, source tells @TheAthletic.

Johnny Cueto market is heating up. Could go fairly quick, Not a ton of good starters left so those that are should do very well. At least half the teams could use another starter.
