“I’m sure he’s probably a little frustrated that it didn’t happen in training camp last year. But the thing is, we had no fans in the stands. We have owners who didn’t even know if they were going to have income and maybe backed off a bit. “
Jones, who is now a special consultant for the Georgia franchise, is aware that Freeman, 32, has received offers that didn’t go over to him from the Braves. In addition, other formations are on his heels.
