All-Star Weekend 2022 | The list of all contest participants | NBA

That’s it, we now know the names of all the players who will participate in the All-Star Game 2022!

After the participants of the Rising Stars Challenge and the All-Star Game, last week (and this Monday), the NBA actually unveiled last night the identity of those who will take part in the traditional Saturday night contests.

Starting, of course, with the always-awaited Slam Dunk Contest.

Unsurprisingly, and as announced a few days ago, it is Jalen Green (Rockets), Obi Toppin (Knicks), Cole Anthony (Magic) and Juan Toscano-Anderson (Warriors) who will try to succeed Anfernee Simons, crowned in 2021 , facing Toppin precisely.

As for the 3-Point Contest, which is increasingly scrutinized given the emergence of outside shooting, Stephen Curry’s successor is among Desmond Bane (Grizzlies), CJ McCollum (Pelicans), Zach LaVine (Bulls) , Luke Kennard (Clippers), Patty Mills (Nets), Karl-Anthony Towns (Wolves), Trae Young (Hawks) and Fred VanVleet (Raptors).

We will therefore find no less than four All-Stars for this confrontation between snipers!

Finally, the Skills Challenge is seeing its format evolve, since it will now be a collective rather than an individual competition, to test shooting, dribbling and passing skills.

Three teams will challenge each other in Ohio: a Team Antetokounmpo, made up of the Giannis brothers, Thanasis and Alex; a Team Cavaliers, made up of Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley; and a Team Rookies, consisting of Cade Cunningham, Josh Giddey and Scottie Barnes.

See you at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, just ten days from now, Saturday, February 19, to hear about the new winners of each competition.
