The candidacy of Bradley Beal for the next All-Star Game is in serious trouble. The back of the Wizards, who left the team on Tuesday to meet a specialist, is indeed suffering from a ligament injury in his left wrist. He was hit during the trip to Memphis this weekend.
Wes Unseld Jr. said his player will be re-evaluated in a week. As a result, he will miss at least the next three Wizards games. The latter, defeated by the Bucks last night, travel to Philadelphia the next night before receiving the Suns then the Heat. Very heavy therefore for the men of the capital who remain on six defeats in a row.
After two seasons averaging more than 30 points, the back has seen his average drop this season (23.2), and his 3-point percentage is terrible for a shooter like him: 30%! On the other hand, he posted his best passing average in his career. In January, the triple All-Star even turned to more than 8 assists per game.
He could return around February 10, the transfer deadline before which his team could change its face…
