Rockets rookie Usman Garuba undergoes wrist surgery | NBA

Usman Garuba is part of the Rockets’ very young guard. Chosen in 23rd position in the last Draft, he is thus one of the four rookies in the squad, along with Jalen Green, Josh Christopher and Alperen Sengun.

But the former Real Madrid phenomenon plays very little in the NBA, since he had to settle for 105 minutes, spread over 15 games, since the start of the season. In mid-January, his club had therefore sent him to the G-League, where he had notably managed a game with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists, and another with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Unfortunately for him, the Spaniard visibly injured his wrist in the Rio Grande Valley Vipers’ last game, and he is going to have surgery. He will be absent 6 and 8 weeks, announces ESPN.
